Class Structure
Our kids’ classes are designed to be fun, active, and confidence-building while teaching the foundations of jiu jitsu.
Each session begins with a dynamic warm-up that helps develop coordination, balance, and body awareness. From there, we introduce the basic mechanics of essential jiu jitsu movements, such as rolls, hip escapes, and safe falling techniques, so children build strong fundamentals in a safe and supportive environment.
To keep learning engaging, we use task-based games that reinforce skills through play. These games challenge kids to apply their movements in fun scenarios, encouraging teamwork, problem-solving, and focus.
By blending structured learning with interactive activities, our classes help children develop discipline, resilience, and respect - both on and off the mats.
Our kids classes are suitable for those aged 7 to 14 years, but please get in touch if your child lies outside this age range and we can discuss.
